はんてい【判定】

1 〔物事を判断して決めること〕 (a) judgment; (a) decision; (an) adjudication; a finding; (陪審官の) a verdict.

～する judge; decide; come to a decision; adjudicate 《upon》; adjudge; find 《somebody guilty》.

●合否を判定する decide passes and fails; decide whether sb meets the standards

・成績を判定する decide a grade [score, mark]

・着順を写真で判定する decide the order by using photographs.

●不当に地元選手に有利な判定 a biased decision in favor of a local player.
